Experience itself is the best teacher of card sense, so the more times you spend actually playing bridge, the faster you will develop your abilities.

Don't feel like you have to know everything to begin with.

Try to organize weekly games at the club or at home with friends or the people from your class. 

You'll pick up more skills every time you play, especially if you can get some more experienced players to play with you.
